Delete your account

You can delete your Back by Dark account at any time. It deletes, it does not deactivate, and it cannot be undone.
How to delete it
- In the app — iPhone: More → Delete my account. Android: Account → Delete my account. Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.
- In the web console — sign in at backbydark.app, open Account, and use Delete my account.
- By email — if you can no longer sign in, email support@ramola.ai from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
Before anything is deleted, the app and the console show you what will happen — including any club that will be deleted with you.
What is deleted
Your sign-in, your club memberships, your check-in history and all of your location history are removed. A club that has no other members is deleted along with your account.
What the club keeps
Sightings and stand reports you filed stay with the club as its record of its own property, with your name removed from them.
If you own a club
If you are the only owner of a club that still has other members, make someone else an owner first. A club with no owner cannot be managed by anyone, so deletion waits until it has one.
